Well, I tried setting up my biocube but I was not happy with the overflow noise. I went to go purchase a Red Sea Reefer 250 from Aquatic Collections in Haryward, and my wife convinced me to splurge on the Max 260 instead. I am not that handy with things, and the whole DYI thing did not work out for me.
As a result I have accumulated a number of things I no longer need and thought I would post them here first before I post them on the drygoods forum.
1. oceanic bio cube 29g aquarium with coralife stand $100. Drilled with two gl*******s overflows and one return line, flex hose, black return tubing. The hood was retrofitted with LED lights and a rudimentary controller. The stand has a scratch along one side. I removed the magnet stops for the doors.
2. Bulk Reef Supply deluxe reactor $30-never used, still in original bubble wrap from shipping. SOLD.
3. Eshopps sump RS-100 $75, probably first generation, bought it used.
4. Kessil 350A $200: original model, new in the box. Bought this years ago for another project that never came to fruition. It was never used. This is the original model so it is not compatible with the kessil controller from what I understand.
5. Kessil 350A $250. used, controller compatible. I bought this used here from a fellow reefer, but never actually used it. Good condition.
6. Kessil light mounts $25 each. I have two of these, one new in the box. The other I bought used here, and it is missing one of the plastic screws to hold it in place. First person to buy one gets the one without the missing screws.
I live Clayton and can meet up in Concord or Walnut Creek area.
