FS: Knop reactor with CO2 tank

Bump.

Last chance. Knocking the price down $25.

August 29th it will end up with the scrappers who prowl my alley.
Need to get it out of the basement before next weekend.

Hi, I'm relatively new to SW aquariums, but could I use the CO2 system you're selling for my FW planted tank too? Really interested :bounce2:

I believe so - you need a reaction chamber in the same way.
Use some bio balls inside instead of aragonite and you should be OK.
The Dwyer flow meter really can keep the flow down.

Probably a dumb question, is the reaction chamber (the first picture, I assume) where the co2 diffuses? Thus eliminating the need for a diffuser in the tank?

CO2 in this case is completely different than the planted tank application. CO2 is necessary in the reactor to get the ph of the water within the reactor to where it breaks down the media. That, then drips into tank on a level you have to determine based on need.

As long as there is flow through the reactor and into the tank, it won't matter if the diffuser is in tank or out of tank.

I got an offer on just the calcium reactor. I've initially said no, but thought about it some more.

I don't really want to part the system - but if there is interest in just the CO2 tank, gauge and flow meter, I will.

PM me for details.

bump again

bump again

Folks have made offers if I part this out.
Not 100% sure that they will both go through yet.
But that is where this stands.

Again, if not gone by Sunday, will be added to the Euroreef in a blaze of glory. Or molten lump.

Regards.
