My smaller tank has made it difficult to maintain a consistent foam head with this skimmer. I purchased it new back in April/May of 2014.
It is in great condition, except for a slight crack on the lid of the skimmer. This must have occurred during the original shipment but I never noticed until recently...This is only an aesthetic issue and is an internal crack, does not effect performance.
Anyway, this is definitely the better performing of the two versions, as I have owned both. It also far improved with microbubbles than version 1 as the base of the skimmer is taller and makes it more difficult for the bubbles to escape.
I think there is a universal opinion that this is one of the of best Beckett skimmers, if not the best!
Ideal sump depth for the skimmer is 9"
The pump is the 110v AquaBee 3000.
Rated up to 250G.
Asking $600.00 shipped. I paid $900.00 for this skimmer and they are very hard to find used!

I will give the unit a vinegar bath and have it cleaned up nicely before it ships.
