My girlfriend bought it for her tank when chad shut his down. It started to die last month in there so I've been nursing it back and it's all healed up now.

It looks like Turbinaria reniformis (scroll coral) to me - I have a smaller colony that i was told was a scroll that looks similar and is growing in the same pattern - Their growth patterns vary greatly in the wild based on conditions.

The coral commonly known as pagoda are a different variety of Turbinaria.
