may be he has been getting tons of pm's, you just probably don't know about it.

thanks guys, i tried catching him last night for 2 hrs but i just couldnt. i really don't want to sell this guy but i made a mistake of letting my wife know how much i bought it for... she thinks that is way too much for a single fish and tried explaining to her that this is a great deal for a rare fish. finally, after realizing how much i really like the fish and that it's gonna take me years to take it out of the tank wife said i can keep him but i'll be under probation for 3 months (meaning i can't buy anything from LFS)

Man I would die if I can't buy anything for 3 months .. Another reason why you don't tell your wife the price we pay for some of the stuff. :lol:
I'm happy that you can keep the fish. It's beautiful. I told my wife last night if she likes the fish. She said yes and ask me to get it. When I told her the price, she said no right away

You guys are too funny. I actually use cash when I buy my corals and fish. That way she doesn't see it on the credit card bill.
When I was in Singapore, I was talking to one of the fish store owner. He said guys who bring their wife into the store will work out a deal ahead of time with him over the phone. When the wife see something she likes, he would always tell them a price under $20. The husband would come back later to pay for the difference.
