I had my LFS keep my 2 Maxima clams for me to sell, but no one would buy them cause he has alot. He has been nursing them for about a month and I just brough them home. I am selling the clams for $35 each and $60 for both. I cant keep them under my PC lights. They are about 1.5".

I agree with Elite, the one on the right does look like a goner, the hermit crab is already able to smell the "scent of a dying clam".

right one is doing better today. i moved him and he was attached the rock already and closed up pretty quick. reaction is good.

they look pretty tiny... they may need manual feeding.

you should make sure they're healthy and doing well after reintroducing them into your tank before selling... otherwise they may be so stressed out the buyer will get them and they'll die.

well i didnt get it from aquatic gallery is thats what your trying to say. I just dont want them to die in my tank. Aquatic central has been keeping them for me trying to sell them, but he has too many other clams to sell. So i just brought them home yesterday. and i dont think they would do well in my tank in the long run.

Noone wants to buy dying clams, especially since all the LFS have hundreds of them to choose from for about the same price.

PS, what is up with all the sales of new members. Everywhere else, you need 50 posts to sell anything, but open the BAR page and we have new RC members selling everything left and right, not even BAR members.

i dont know okay. MAYBE! i just want to give these clams a better home. thought of that before saying all that crap about me? maybe i care for all these creatures and want them to live? ive given free stuff before so dont judge man.

he's not judging, I think he simply says that he doubts you will find any luck selling the clams at the moment.

I hope they pull through. Have you tried phytopheast like Mr. Ugly suggested?

Hang in there. If you can give them as much light as possible, and keep feeding phytofeast, maybe you can nurse them back a bit, and someone will buy them.

Good luck!
