FS: Misc. Stuff

Hello Tucson reefers! I was doing some spring cleaning and found some stuff that I bought used and i never used it myself. I figured there are better uses to this stuff than just collecting dust in my garage so off they go. Like i said, i bought all of these things used but they are in good condition. I will make a list of whats available, if your seriously interested, i can send a pic of the item. Prices are OBO. Thanks and happy reefing!

Standard 40 gallon tank w/blue background - $40

60 gallon tank with center glass panel, drilled on back, and bought from Brett(AquaPh)- $60

Mag 18, great condition- $100

1/6 Chiller, will need some TLC and probably freon -$130

25 GPD RO system, needs new filters and supply hose- $25

Aquarium Corals by Eric Borneman, paperback - $20

3x 10 gallon tanks, one has had copper in it, will throw in standard fluorescent fixture - $10ea.

If you have copper in a tank... can you ever use it for something other than quarantine again? Because I plan on setting up a 10gal QT for a few wrasses i have coming in but afterwards I was going to make a cabinet and use the 10 gal tank as my top off reservior....

There are some people that use stuff like vinegar and whatnot to clean the aquariums that have had copper but u always run the risk of having copper leach out of the silicone of the tank and stuff so IMO once a tank has copper in it i wouldnt use it as part of my display tank.

I have a Reef Octopus HOB but its rated at around 100gallons. That would probably be over kill wouldnt it?

Maybe just a little. I dose phyto and such for my sofites and NPSs. I run a red sea prizim on my 46 and it does pretty good. Just for $h!ts an giggles, how much for the Octo HOB?

NEW! - I have a medical Dosing unit that was used as a two part doser. Again bought it used but never used it. Its a DualFlo Enternal Pump made by Compat. I have all of the instructions for it. This is in great condition! Bought it for $140, asking $100.
