Beautiful fish, about 4in, great for a tank 100g or larger. Lots of personality, will relocate small loose frags (you should secure them anyway), but has never nipped SPS or any other corals. Has never bitten me despite having my hands in the tank for long periods during aquascaping, etc. This image is not my fish, but he looks like this, actually better than this one. $30.

IS HE OK FOR A 75 G ?

He's in a 90g now, Steve. I would prefer that he go to a larger tank, but I will consider it if you're interested.

I had a 6 to 7" Piscaso Trigger in a 25g tank for over 2 years in the early 90's no protein skimmer with an under gravel (only the best). Today i would never do it again, but a well maintain 75g tank with a good protein skimmer can house a 4in trigger, but it would be nice that he be in a bigger tank. imho I am looking for a small male blue throat for my new 75g. I love triggers they are so hardy and will eat out of your hand. But be careful with the fingers.

i saw a couple nice blue throats recently

Thanks, a saw a 6-7" beautiful one at Fishes of eden but i would like to start out with a small one which is hard to come by.

A buddy of mine brought me a small HumaHuma Picasso Trigger over the weekend. I thought about keeping it, but my buddy's salinity is very low and didn't feel like taking the time to acclimate him up to 1.024.

I took him to the LFS for store credit, saw him there yesterday doing fine. Very cute but nasty disposition I've heard.

You mean one like this?? :D :D (got him at Exotic Aquarium)

Hopefully the Niger finds a great home. You probably could keep a niger temperary in a 75, but the problem arises from when you "go small." I.E. when a fish a used to a larger tank and is put into a more confided space they tend to get more aggressive. Though a 75gal isn't terribly smaller then a 90gal....
