I've had this tank around for several years and haven't used it in a while. I bought it used and housed South American Cicilids in it for quite some time, but had to take it down when I got married and moved back in '09. It was packed in a crate and made the move down to Pensacola where it sat in the garage. It was moved back here in Oct and I just don't want to look at it anymore. The stand was not crated and probably doesn't look as good as it did in the pic below. I refinished it before taking that pic back in 08 or so. I'm 99% positive the tank is in the same shape it was in when it went into the crate. I looked in and didn't see any breakage, but will remove it and double check if someone is seriously interested in it.

The tank is a standard 4' long 90g with that fake wood trim that Oceanic used back in the day. The glass center brace fell out a long time ago. I kept fish in it for many months w/o knowing it was supposed to be there, so take that for what it's worth. The stand is the typical wood/plywood stand used back then. It is sturdy and was finished with Mahogany polyshades. Both should still be fully functional, but I haven't leak tested it in several years. I'm selling this As-Is because I just want it gone.

Again, I'll pull it out of the crate to double check the glass if someone is seriously interested, but I"m 99% sure it's okay.

This was shot when I was first filling it for my Cichlids

How's $125 sound?

I'm also open to offers. The $125 isn't firm.

I might also be open to trades. I'm possibly in the market for new lighting over my Solana. A good 24" T5 fixture or a nice SE MH pendent would be fine. A used DIY LED project would be interesting too. Make me an offer. The worst I could say is I"m not interested.

do you know if the rear panel is tempered? got a friend looking to upgrade from a standard 55 to a 90, but he wants it drilled.

I"m not sure if it is or not. I bought it used and I don't remember any tags or anything saying one way or another.

Bump

I would like to get this thing out of my garage. $100 OBO. I"m still open to trades too. Things I"m interested in are: 4-6 bulb 24" TEK light, 14g Biocube stand, coral, and maybe some other stuff.

It's not bad. I'm not sure if it's the same or worse than newer 90g tanks, but it's a little greened. I'm sure it's due to the thickness. As for scratches, honestly I don't remember. I don't remember anything terrible, but it's been a while. I'll see about taking it out of the crate this weekend. If I have time I'll pull it out, take some detailed pics and leak test it.

If psychobilly doesn't want it and it doesn't leak I will take it off your hands, I beleive it will fit on the trailer I pull behind my scooter.

Update time.

I took it out of the crate yesterday and filled it. Idont see any visible bowing and it shows no signs of leaking. I did notice a very small chip on one of the edges, but it is very superficial and doesn't affect the silicone at all. I would use it in my house if I had the space.

Sounds good. Just a heads up, I noticed 2 small chips smaller than the first I described on another pane. They are also superficial and the tank still shows no signs of leaks

He hasn't spoken up. I forgot who asked about it earlier and didn't read the earlier posts. I just quickly threw up the update. If you still want it I think it would only be fair to let you have first go at it.
Cynd, I'll put you inline, but he spoke up first. Sorry for the confusion.

Ok let me know. Need a tank ASAP
I sold mine to get a different one and they are sitting in a big tub

Oh, wow. If he doesn't check back by Saturday I'll call it yours on Sunday. I also have a drilled 40 breeder if you're in a tight bind. I think I have a 20 long that I used to use as a sump for it too. The 40g is one from petsmart and lacks the overflow. It just has a hole. I'd let the 20 and 40 go for $50 as well.
