FS Onyx Pair $60

Hey guys I'm breaking down a couple of tanks, no longer dreaming about breeding clownfish anymore. I acquired the pair 8 months ago, they still have a year or so to mature. I bought both the same size about 1.5", the female has grown to 2" and the male has remained the same size. Both are wild caught, I treated for brook and dewormed them when I bought them.

Only thing about them is the male is Onyx on one side, and the other side is missing about 1/8" to fill the black all the way in.

Hey Ken, that's exactly what I'm going to do. Bad thing is I think I have around 12- 15 pairs of clownfish I have to find homes for, just keeping the "unique" pairs I've acquired.

Hey Sam,

I have a single female tomato clown I've had for about 14 months, I also have two juvenile cinnamon clowns, one of them is in the same tank with my Onyx pair, and the other cinnamon is sharing a tank with a clarki clown. I was planning on trying to pair the cinnamon with the tomato, but been too busy. If you want the female tomato to pair with cinnamon, or both cinnamon clowns you can have them for $15. Only thing about tomato and cinnamon clowns is that they are mean and territorial:mad2:

Since a bond has already started with the Onyx pair I threw the cinnamon in the same tank because I didn't have any room. Sometimes I do it also to keep the clownfish from maturing, keeping it sexless until I can find a mate. As long as you don't have two females or two males you don't have any problems because they aren't trying to eliminate each other to step up in the hierarchy.

Ron, you have an awesome collection of clowns, but in your case, downgrading will make life much easier. Good luck on finding homes for everyone. I almost wish I could put another pair in my tank, I'm still looking for another black saddleback.

LOL. I have it narrowed down to 4-5 pairs I'm keeping.

I had one but traded with Laverda. I had to get rid of it because my girlfriend wouldn't let me take her's away to pair them up.

Ron, I have a cinnamon in my tank for about 2 1/2 years and its about 4". I'll take one of the cinnamons from you to pair it up with mine. LMK
