FS - Orange Spot Rabbitfish (Siganus guttatus)

I just caught this guy taking a nip at a couple of my SPS so he's outta here. He's a beautiful specimen with nice dark coloration and in excellent shape (around 5-6" long and 1/2" thick). However, he belongs in a FOWLR. I paid over $80 and would like to get $50.

Me too, I really like him. Its partially my fault as I have been light on the nori.

Last time I tried to trap a fish, I actually got him twice. Now that I am after him, it will be impossible.

Actually there easy to get out, When I got that fish out he kinda did the turn to stone look and I netted him right out. It was odd, he still kept the stone look all the way to the top of the tank, like he was still a rock and thats it.
Really did a number on my tank though.

I will try and net him. If that doesn't work, I will throw some nori and misis in the trap.

They all have the cloudy eyes... When I first got my scribbled rabbitfish I thought it had a problem but that's just how they are.

I miss mine, don't miss the nipping but he was a sweet looking fish and active in the tank.

interesting serpentman. they are well known to go after zoas LPS. Mine has done nothing so far. i was hoping he would clean out some of my zoas that are occupying prime space i want for my sps. Lets hope mine does not develop a taste for the stonys.

I would pay you 50.00 for the fish if you were going to be in the area of Youngstown anytime soon. I live a hour east of Ytown. Not sure if you ever go there looks like 40 Minutes from you. I also have live rock and ricordia for sale/trade. Thanks

I don't think I have immediate plans that would send me out that way. I will take a look at my schedule and see if anything calls me east in the near future.

That's the plan if I don't sell him. Maybe he'll keep some of that anthelia at bay. If I do, I will be sure to alert the tang police as I am sure they will have a field day!
