CG..

I don't mean to be mean but it is rather annoying to always come into this forum and find you bumping your own thread(this one has 13!) or starting a new one for the millionth time after promising/"threatening" to turn your frags over to your lfs.

It may grow fast but C'mon already.

I don't know what your problem is. If you felt annoyed then just don't open my posting. PERIOD. I have never violated any terms of condition here at RC. Who are you to censor me? I am exercising my freedom of speech. And you have no right to impose this censorship on me. I have the right to Free Speech and I am exercising this as a legal citizen of this country. I can do whatever I want to do here as long as I follow the rules at RC. It is true that I always go to my LFS and to bring in frags for store credit and I don't "threaten" or "promise" anything to my fellow members. You know why? Because I prefer to rip my fruits and give these to my fellow members rather than bringing these in to my LFS. My fellow RC members are my priority. I am not after themoney, Gina and I'm not desperate for a small amount of $5 or $15 per frag. I am a highly-paid IT Professional, for your information.

The second reason why I prefer to sell these frags to my fellow members is because this is one way of seeing them LIVE! Socialize with them and talk about corals and fish in person. I have been around alot with dog and cat persons. I am more eager to speak with people who are into Reef Hobby.Plus, I do not attend a lot of frag swaps because of my busy schedule. Selling frags gives me a chance to reallly share my thoughts and learn from my fellow members LIVE!

Last Sunday, I had a fellow member who drove all the way from Santa Clarita to Los Angeles and got a xenia frag from me. Imagine, these people know how to appreciate what I do.

So the next time you see my posting, just move on with your life!

OK, I understand, times are rough.Don't get so upset;have a fire sale and "rip your fruits".

Gina, I'm not upset. I'm just reiterating what is right and what my real cause is.

Oh, by the way, Times are not rough and I don't need a fire
sale and reap my fruits....Life is so goooood to me these days!

from what i understand is that xenias is a form of micro algae...there-for in any event that your water is just too clean, they will start to pack there bags. so anyone having xenia failure... you might be able to allow a little phosphate in and see if the status changes from one month to another... but then again you have a "Catch 81-59=?" Phosphate feeds algae and inhibits coral growth BUT your xenias will thrive... this is not IME this is just from a little research... but dont print this out cause most of the time, im mostly wrong :p

I heard about it that water must not be too clean. I don't know because my softies are all thriving and multiplying including my bubble coral, frogspawn and my hammer. My forgspawn is splitting and creating more heads and I think is setting foot on my dead elk horn coral. Not sure if this is fragging. I'm afraid to cut it. My hammer, I resurrected it because it was dying last summer as I didn't have any chiller . Now, it's fully expanded. 300% than I bought it from my lfs. Same thing with my zoos, tree corals and my yellow toadstool that I got from a swap 5 months ago. Everything is thriving and multiplying in my uniquarium. So not sure about having bad water params. My phosphates? I think it's well controlled. I'm really good not to overfeed the fish. Cyano is well controlled as well.

You could try it if you want. Let me know when you're ready, Salt e
