I got an amazing deal on a metal halide light, so I'm putting my rapidled fixture up for sale. Setup is solderless. I have 12 cool white leds on one dimmable channel and 9 blue and 3 royal blue on another dimmable channel. Hanging kit included. All less than a year and a half old. 60 degree lenses. Black 6"x9" heat sink with a computer fan I attached. Have 2 extra blue, royal blue, and white leds. Have 5 uv, 2 green, and 2 red leds with lenses as well. Pm for my cell number for pics (also in my build thread). Price is $240 for everything, pickup preferred but may be willing to meet within a reasonable distance.

Thanks.

I'm just curious, are you going to MH due to growth of corals, or lack thereof?

We have a MH fixture over our 125g DT and we are considering switching to LEDs to help with electricity but we are concerned with growth.

Thanks.

Growth was really good actually. These things give off a TON of par. I only had the red, green, and uv leds in for two weeks and my color was starting to improve. But the mh was too good a deal to pass up and will allow me to get a larger footprint tank in the future without any other changes

I had it about 9" over a 16"x20" display. If you search my threads there a lot of pictures with it over the tank. They show growth too. I have cell pics if you're interested. Also have an alc unit which hooks into reefkeepers. You can control each driver independently, ramp up, etc

Absolutely. I had sps, clams, zoas under the lights. My first par reading with the lights at 45% white and 90% blue was over 600 12" below the top of the water (I turned it down ha)

This led setup is definitely gonna grow whatever you want under it. Ive seen it and was the one who tested it and it dedinitely puts out the par. Whoever picks this up will not be dissapointed

Didn't that lil fixture put out like 1300 par or something like that? I remember bob saying it gave higher reading then direct sunlight lol

Haha yeah it was around 1600 at the top of the water if I recall correctly. Definitely has the power to grow whatever you want
