It comes with a phoenix 14k bulb that has almost 5 months use on it. As you can see in the red rectangle the ceramic on one end broke when I first tried to install it. I ran it for almost 5 months this way with no issues. I plugged it in also for this pic.

This is a plug and play pendant/ballast with quick disconnect. No wiring is needed. I feel the bulb easily has 6 more months on it.

Hello,

I had a question.

Why you selling it if I may ask.

I just bought new dual blue wave HQI and reef optix and phoenix bulbs.

Was this a bad purchase? Is the broken ceramic part just the tip of the iceburg?

I havn't had mine out of the boxes yet.

Is this sold yet?

I think so, but you can never be sure until $ is in hand.

In my opinion these are great pendants. Only reason I am selling is I got a good deal on some used lumen max 3's. My tank is pretty wide, and the large lumenmax spread the light a little better.

The broken ceramic on the bulb has nothing to do with the pendant. Its a peice of the bulb insulator that I broke when the bulb was brand new. I couldnt see tossing it out. The bulb still works fine, but I don't want anyone to claim I ripped them off by not pointing it out.
