Great detritus eaters. They like a sandy bottom to scavenge for food and since I am slowly taking my sand out he would be better in another tank. It is about 5-6" long. 5.00

They are only a problem if they die and you let them sit in the tank. I have five in my tank and the do a great job of keeping the sand bed stirred up

Do any other inverts bother them like starfish, crabs or cleaner shrimp? What about with corals? Do they mess with your corals?

Thanks

It is already spoken for. If it falls thru then Nanron is next. Thanks for all the interest.

Rene does this guy stay on the surface or below? A long time ago I got one from Chuck. It tunneled thru the sand. I haven't been able to find one like it in a long time.

This one stays on top of the sand. It uses its tentacles to rummage thru the top of the sand. I think it has been going on the glass because I don't have much sand left. After I get my sand swapped out I will be looking for more.

No. It is still yours. He has to be in a good place for me to grab him. He is usually towards the back or in a place where I can't get to him. If you look at the first link you will see why. On the right there is a frag rack very close to the front. It over laps with the huge coral in the back. In the middle there are 2 racks that go from front to back. Nearly impossible to get him when he is on that side of the tank. The second link is when I had him and needed to get in touch with you asap. No one ever responded to the thread. I couldn't keep him in the basket that long. Furniture is up against the tank so when the workers are finished I will be able to try again.
