FS Super Reef Octopus 3000 internal Skimmer

I have a one year old SRO 3000 int skimmer that doesn't fit in my new sump. Per my foot print and the dimensions given to me on a website for my sump it should fit. However, the sock holder is in the way and I don't want to cut the holder out so i'm selling my skimmer. Still under warranty. I will post pictures after skimmer gets out of its vinegar bath. $350 and no trades.

No not yet I'm using the old sump and still need to chop and channel that 150 tank . It works but where I have the pump connected to the sump in center chamber isn't really big enough for the pump the pump creates such a suction that it makes a vortex of air and was causing micro bubbles in the dt . I have fix the problem wih a sponge but it's like a bandaid not a solution

Did you put in the smaller impeller? also use the ball valve to scale down the input. Try that

Yeah I did both to the pump ...the resivoir is too narrow I feel... So how does the self cleaner work
