I have a 125 long with a 110 gall sump. He is too big for that huh. Let me know

I initially had a 5 ft 100G tank for him, but that project was scratched when it cracked. the 125 should be 6ft and will be enough room for him. I would be more concerned about your skimmer size. Overskimming is a must with larger fish.

If it is a reef tank skimming is important. But if it is a fish only tank skimming is not a big concern at all.Just my 2 pennys.

This guy eats and puts out a ton of waste along with the other fish I had which all have grown fairly large. I went from a 100G capacity skimmer to a 220G to keep up. No skimmer is fine if you want to frequently change the water.
