So I purchased this powerhead about 3 days ago for my 110G 5ft long tank. Hooked it up, loved the fact that I could program it through my Apex, but it just doesn't push nearly as much water as my WP40, and I really don't want to purchase a second, so I'm going back to my WP40 and figuring out how to set it up through my Apex.
Just put it through a nice vinegar bath. One of the little plastic arms on the front of the wet side is cracked, doesn't effect performance at all. Also, do not have the rubber pad that goes between the dry side and aquarium. I cut up a piece of a drawing liner and used that, you're welcome to it if you want it. I know you can buy replacement rubber pads for $50 on EcoTechs website.
