I have a large torch coral for trade. It has been in my tank since August and has tripled in size. Many new heads, so it probably is a candidate for fragging by someone with the knowledge. If you're not going to sub-divide this coral, you must have a large tank, because it has long sweepers when it is feeding and will sting other nearby coral. It has simply outgrown the space alloted for it.
I might be interested in getting a 2-3 head frag if someone is going to frag it. Let's talk.

Here is a link to a video of my reef tank. The torch is that large coral on the left side in the middle of the live rock.

Drop me a PM if you're in the market. I would be interested in SPS or zoa frags if you have some items that I don't already have...

Thanks.

Someone asked how many heads on this torch coral. As you can see from the video, it is a large specimen and heads go in all directions from the skeleton. As best I can count, there are a minimum of 20 heads on the coral.

Here is a photo of the torch coral. Keep in mind that this was taken under actinic lights with the powerheads off. Those sweeping polyps usually cascade in the flow... it is about 6" across, NOT including the long polyps/tips...

PM me if interested.

Thanks Mark.

We are planning a tank upgrade for later this year - I may ask for a frag to go in the new tank...

Talk to you later.
