My tank is like it is due to Adams help and knowledge. Thank you:)

Matt, that's one of the most gorgeous FTSes I've seen. It's a piece of art instead of a tank shot; the contrast is amazing. It really makes the shot.

Wow Matt, gorgeous shot!!

Hmm, let's see if I have some shots with most of the fish actually in focus :o It's tough with a point and shoot :)

Before removing all acros due to AEFW:

Thanks:)
You really had to trim yours down didn't you. That must have been a bit of a nightmare. It still looks really good though.

LOL, thanks. It wasn't my proudest moment, but the ordeal will be over soon, and the acros back in....

Mine is a nightmare right now. I'm having serious algae problems. Really, really bad. I've cut back the photoperiod, feeding almost in half, and added some more to my dwindling CUC. Maybe a little later. ;)

Again great stuff everybody!!! I went out today and bought a tripod to get a decent FTS. I am still having difficulty with reflections of things in front of the tank. Any other tips to get a good shot. Thanks, Tim

Okay. So here a couple of my weak attempts of an FTS along with a couple of other new shots. Hardly as nice as the stuff you guys have but thought I would share anyway. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Tim

Tim - great pic. You have a special collection of fish!
As for tips, I find its better to take FTS's when there is low ambient light. Have the tank lights on and don't use the flash.
I also, slightly lower the white balance.
Here is a useful article on close up photography

Lower the white balance? LOL. Like I have a clue what that means. If I could lower the PH to get a better picture that would be a different story. But who cares about pictures I need to keep my ph up! I will look at the manual and see about this crazy white balance you speak of and take some pics when the sun goes down. Thanks Matt. Regards, Tim

Will be taking this tank down and making way for an elos 160xl. Hoping the transition is smooth.

Gasman -amazing tank. If I had that I would be mortified to take it down. Am looking forward to seeing your new one.

If I had that tank someone would have to have loaded shotgun to my head to take that tank down gasman> Were you ever featured TOTM? If not that is a shame. Great work and along with Matt I can't wait to see the new one! Tim
