FTS of my mostly LPS tank

Actually, that's great. I've been struggling setting my white balance ever since I doubled my blues.
How did you do it?

How did you do it?

I ran it through Photoshop camera RAW. All of my photography workflow goes through that program. Again, I had noticed about a month ago that your WB was very green and I offered to try to fix it. I kind of figured that isnt' how it really looks. You can avoid all of this by fixing the white balance directly from the camera. What kind of camera do you have?

Moved some stuff around, again.
Hopefully i'll be happy with this arrangement.
On the plus side, the ricordea had a baby, fragged it onto a rock.
And i think this is about the best true color picture I have taken.

Hey mark I got a quick question, is your green trumpet doing fine with the lighting down there on the left hand side????? I can't get my to puff up. And yes, this is by far the best one I have seen u post, what did u do different?

Mine may be getting to much light now, but since it's on the edge of the tank, it may be ok, i'll be watching it.
Anytime i've had problems with green trumpets, it's been too much light.
Yours doesn't look happy, too much flow?
These things are finicky, if mines not happy, i'll move it in an instant.

Thanks.
Set the white balance differently.

Well the white balance seems to fix that right away, it was getting to much flow where it was, I just moved it here yesterday, how long should I give it in one spot into it seems happier???

I would say it will let you know in a few hours. I just got a new green one yesterday. I'll get some new pictures up today.

My lfs has a real nice colony for sale, 15, 20 heads?
Anyways, he keeps it under a pipe at the back of the frag tank, basically no flow, no direct light.
And the thing has been healthy for months.
Crazy part is he's only asking $65 for it and no-one has bought it.
But my point is, these things don't seem to like much flow or light, generally.

Not having the skimmer working for a few days cost me 1 sps, it bleached quick.
Water was getting nasty.
Got up real early Saturday, took it all out/apart. vinegar soaked everything, seems to work just fine again.
Had ordered a replacement, it will now be the backup.
Made a clam perch.
Had to move the frogspawn out from under the purple stylo, was getting too shaded.
Stuck the cinnamon palys under there, they seem to like less light.

So, after deep cleaning the skimmer and having it run for a few days, I see a definite difference in the tank.
Water is clearer, corals look better and I have to clean the glass less often.

Make a few changes.
The fungia got hit hard by the conch, so the fungia has been moved to the other tank until I can free up some sandbed. Fighting some nasty algae, took out a couple rocks to re-cure.
Moved stuff around, will be selling some corals, just too many with them growing.
Just no room to do anything.

Mark, let me know what you're going to be selling. I'll more than likely be interested, you can PM me on this if you prefer.

I wish I can have some branching hammers :( my tank is mostly filled with LPS too but the wall hammers are so hard to position. Your octospawn looks good! I wish mine will be bigger soon!
