As I was curious, I checked the list of previous TOTM. Most are larger and while they don't all specify whether SPS dominant, those that do, frequently are (or are mixed). I also found this article about how they are chosen. Assuming things haven't changed since then, you can nominate your favorite!

How do you get your Stylo to stay like that? I have bought a large stylo about the same size but am having trouble figuring out how to mount it and where to mount it. Amazing tank

Thanks, appreciate the kind words.
The stylo is kind of a combination of luck and planning.
It's still on the frag plug. The rock had a perfect sized hole to put it in.
I angled the rock so it would balance.
I got it when it was a 2" frag.

You can kind of see it with this zoomed in picture.

So pretty much only if you have HUGE amounts of money and time spent?

I actually put a post in the feedback forums a while back asking why all the TOTM's basically look the same, SPS dominant.
Was told it's because it's all that are voted for, people want tanks with large sticks.
But, on the flip side, i think Septembers is a softie dominated tank, so it can happen.

Honestly Mark I think with a bit more maturity yours would be a contender. Placement is natural, your husbandry practices are top notch and everything looks healthy

what is the glass in the front left corner for?

I was given an anemone.
He came from a tank that was running led lights way too high, so he's bleached and absolutely scared of the light.
I put him in that glass along with a rock, trying to get him used to the light.
He does come out at night and opens up quite nicely, but during the day he crawls under the rock and basically hides.
I posted in the anemone forum asking for help, didn't get much.
So i'm basically just letting him do his thing in the glass.
I don't want to put him on a rock out of the glass as he'd prpbably crawl in the rocks and i'd never see him again.
He can crawl out of the glass if he wants, but chooses not to.

This is him during the day, sad :(
