I always think Kudas are really pretty but I chose erectus because I read multiple places that they are the hardiest of the seahorse species. My pair were dark grayish brown when I got them a year ago but they have lightened up considerably showing pretty spots, stripes and patches now. Their base color is sort of an orangish tan now. Anyway, thanks.

The stripes really are cool on yours. It's amazing to see them change colors. Our Kudas were black but are now more orange all over!
