I had a halide back in 2006 it was the lumenarc mini reflector and 250w SE bulbs. That is one nice thing about the led is that the shimmer reminds me of the halide days.

I am running a fixture with 3 x 250w de hqi MH and 4 HO T5s. It looks great but not blue enough for me. I need to look into different t5 bulb combinations. I like my Phoenix 14k bulbs.

I am not on the tour. Before I went away pond market had a flier. If I remember right. I have to go out that way soon. I pulled up and split a lot I mean a lot of water Lilly tubers and dont really want to put them back in the aquatic soil because it turn anaerobic and makes a mess out of the pond. I am intrested in some hydroponic bags that I can sink.

And on a good note I cleaned both powerheads yesterday and I don't know how much flow was being restricted but the sand looks 10x better this morning. I am still really considering a mp40 one for now because of funds

I may get beat up and potentially kicked out of the club, but I am happy with my Jebao wave makers. I control them with the Apex and can send the savings on live stock. When I first put water in the tank, I had only one of the smallest sizes they offer (pp8) in my 220 and it was making waves. I now have 2 pp20 and 2 pp8. I am down grading to the pp15 because the pp20 are too strong. I can't run them past 60% are I start blowing sand and coral around. To me it was worth the savings, cause I can buy several replacements if it does go bad.
