These are my fu's. I got them from DD a couple of months ago. I have just been feeding them live -- mostly grass shrimp and then molly babies just recently. They are active and out and about. Not shy at all. They have a dwarf fuzzy as a tank mate. I made a Grene feeding stick yesterday and successfully fed both fu's although the smaller one was not happy with it as she hit it at an angle twice. Anyway -- plan is to feed them live and frozen -- whatever I feel like. Oh yea -- their other tankmates are tons of flatworms....

Thanks -- I did not take the pictures! We had a reef meeting at my house and I got some folks to bring cameras as I need a new one. They were taken by a woman in the local club for me and I think they are awesome too!

Stickboy -- DD quality is great. These fish have been on a limited diet since I got them and look how good they look. They would not look so healthy -- going through shipping, adjusting to the tank, limited diet -- if they did not start out very healthy.

Greg -- thanks -- the woman who took the pictures is supposed to give me more -- so I will post when I get them. I think that what really helped with the stick was the fact that I waited so long to try it out. They had built their trust in their environment and me -- plus the fuzzy helps -- and they just went for it. I think I may have to move slowly with the small fu as she got ****ed off with it. I just have to make sure the angle is good for her.

Renee -- I could not believe the pictures came out so well. The woman has a small Olympus -- I will have to find out the model. The fu's are wonderful. It is so easy to lose time sitting in front of the tank. I wish I could have stayed home today, it's raining, I feel a bit worn out -- would have been nice to sit at home and watch my fish. Sigh.

Their tank is loaded with flatworms -- think I could put some blue velvet nudibranches in or would the lions eat them? There is a dwarf fuzzy too.

Bump -- although the nudibranches are gone off of DD -- will keep an eye out -- do you think the lions will eat them? Anyone?

FWIW, way back when i kept a volitans in my reef tank, it never even looked at the velvet nudies i added to the tank for FW control. i'm not saying it "100%", but it's JME.

Thanks Greg -- I think I may try it next time they come up on DD. I put one in the 180g but it just got blown around in there and pretty quickly disappeared. This tank is mellower flow wise. I worry they will swim around though and attract the attention of the fuzzy who seems to eat anything and everything. Could end up being an expensive snack!
