Fuge creation.

MyMonkey

Persona Non Grata
I have created a very basic refugium in the 10 gallon tank used as a sump. I used a piece of light difuser donated by a LFS- A.R.T. to separate the sump. I am wairing on some Cheato. (That stuff is hard to find for some reason) In the interim, I have placed some other Macro algae, twisty green stuff. Not sure of the name. I placed the algae in a small tub hung on the glass.

There is also a bit of live rock and some filter socks with carbon and phosguard in there. I figure this is a step in the right direction untill I can add actual baffles to the tank.

Here is a shot of the makeshift fuge.

Another angle. Here you can see that I used the original light for the 10 gallon tank. I have in there two 6500K bulbs.

And finally, a full tank shot for prosperity. :D

Woohoo... PM sent. Chris has offered to bring some into OKC in a few weeks. Although, the sooner the better I figure. Thanks. Gotta love this COMAS thing.

I wouldn't put an algae in a tank without knowing what it is. Caulerpa can become a real problem if you aren't careful.

True Paul. I do know what it is but I don't recall the name. (Maidens hair I think) I had Calurpa in the display. It was way too invasive.

Tonight, Lazyreefer brought some to me. Thanks again. :) I take it he is not really a lazyreefer. LOL
