Movin' on Up
I'd like to have a dedicated 'fuge over my sump. I'll tap off the return pump and have the 'fuge overflow back into the sump. Since I already have a couple of NO strip lights, I'd like to use a 10 gallon tank.
I know that drilling a 10 gallon tank can be hit and miss so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what can be used for an overflow. I don't think a regular U tube will work because it will probably only be 1-200 GPH and U tubes seem to lose suction if you drop below 3-400 GPH.
Or, does anyone know of a cheap place to buy an acrylic tank the same size as a regular 10 gallon? I could use a Rubbermaid or something but I'd like to be able to look into at least one face.
