Fuge light?

I am trying to find a light for my new fuge with chaeto. The problem is all the bulbs I find do not list Kelvin rating only lumens. I believe I need around a 5100-6500K bulb. I want to use one of the clip on light housings and the flood type bulb and was wondering if anyone has purchased one at Walmart or Home Depot? If you have can you tell me what brand and such?

How long can chaeto go without lighting? Also, how long do you run your light over your fuge?

Home depot has them.. the spiral bulbs come in 3 different brightness. Get the ones thats says "day light" in the blue packaging.

Exactly! I beleive the brand is commercial electric or something like that. Also, I've found the kelven rating printed on the base of the bulbs themselves then on the packaging. Hope that helps.

i just bought one from hd,like anomie said there is one that says day light on the package and bulb, it says 5500k.the model # IS EMS27.

I thought it was the 5100k bulbs that were hard to find, not the 5500k?

I can find the spiral type but I was looking to the flood type due to the heat of the spirals and having to leave the reflector on with them. I guess I am just out of luck but thanks to all the responses.
