Fuge Question

so i have 4 40g longs going up and tied together. 1-DT,2-sump,3-frag, 4 fuge. having a 40g fuge is quite large for this system and i do plan on filling it with many different macro algea.

the question is, i was thinking about buying 2 reactors from bulk reef to run carbon and gfo but having a large fuge, will i need to run gfo? i plan on keeping a mix coral DT with no softies. wouldn't my macro grow more if i didn't run gfo ??

It will grow either way. I would still run the GFO and carbon

i was trying not to run gfo by having alot in my fuge, was wondering if i can get rid of all phosphates that way

all, probably not, but most of it should be absorbed by the macro and then removed when you harvest it
