fuge substrate whats the best

im wanting to know what most of you use for your fuge

Walt Smith's Refugium Fiji Mud
Refugium Mineral Mud
Kent Marine BioSediment
the kent is the cheapest and says it does what the others do
so what is the best to use ?
how long till you have to replace it or add to it?

Substrates are optional in refugia. I don't use one in mine. A fine sand bed might allow some additional animals to grow, though. I stay away from the mud products since they can be messy, and I don't believe they are more beneficial than sand.
