currently i have quartz sand with lr and chateo in my fuge.
should i leave it in?
should i replace the sand with live aragonite?
or should i remove the sand completely and suspend about 40 lbs of LR rubble in the middle of the fuge on egg crate without any sand in the fuge? i would still keep chaeto. that way, if it was suspended, water could flow all the way 360 around the rubble. this would also creat a dark space below the rock where sponges and other filter feeders could grow.
WHAT would Jesus do? and can any of these options be done safely without crashing the tank?
by the way, i tested everything EXCEPT silicates becuase i dont have a tester for that..
