we have a 55g with a sump, i'd like to add a macro algae to start up a fuge, 2 questions, first, what is the best macro that is non spore and also i am environmental and want to use a 6000k CF from HD, is that going to work?

Cheato is probably the best non spore event macro, and the bulb you've chosen should work fine over a shallow fuge.
