Fujifilm finepix S1000fd

Hi,
I've been thinking about getting a finepix S1000fd since it is the camera that fits my needs. I've seen it at wal-mart and like the feel of it and all the controls. Does anyone here have this model or ever shot with it? If so please share your thoughts on this camera.

HAve you looked at "dp review" .com? They usually have pretty good tests and info to help support your choice. Often they also compare to other similar models.

Yes I have I was just wondering if anyone hear has any expeirience with this camera, sorry for the late reply my power has been out for the last week.

I also like Steves-Digicams.com for investigating my next potential digital camera. As I mentioned in another thread, I've owned two Fujis...the S7000 and the S9000 (which I still have). I saw the S1000fd at a store the other day, was tempted to check it out, but resisted the urge since we already have two slrs and the Fuji.

I cannot attest to that particular model, but can to the quality and photos that I have taken with Fuji cameras.
