Fun in the snow??? and Club Meeting!!

Well I hope that everyone has had fun with all the ice and snow that we have had. I have not even seen the Reef Central site in the last week!!

With what I do at work this has absolutly been a nightmare for me and I have been derelict in being able to spend the time on the forums and attending to club business recently. Anyone that has tried to send me an e-mail or PM in the last 2 weeks I apologize(and I do not do that much), but have had some e-mail problems as well as some issues with messages here on Reef Central. I had a message that I had PM messages, but when I go into my box they are not there.

Now many of you know all the issues that my lovely wife (Robin) and I have had in the last 18 months but on Wednesday morning of this week, Robin was out trying to get in a "short walk before the snow hit" and while walking, slipped on a patch of ice and "BROKE HER LEG"!! She broke both bones in the lower left leg she spent 3+ hours in surgery on Thursday and we just got her released and home a couple of hours ago. Neeless to say we have been "occupied" so if any of you have tried to reach me please call or try and e-mail me at ducklabdad@yahoo.com.

Now on to Business, we need to schedule a meeting, and since we have not had one in a while we have a LOT to discuss. If anyone has a site that you "KNOW" we can use the second or third Saturday in March please let me know.

Bill: I can check on a meeting facility in our neighborhood, but I am sure there would be a small fee of some type. I am not sure how much room would be needed, but I can check to see how much they would charge if you can give me a estimate of the number of attendees. It is in the Davies Planation neighboorhood near the Wolfchase Mall. Let me know if you want me to inquire. Kerry
 
I ought to try and see if the country club would let me use a room.That way I could actually make a meeting!!

(As busy as me, you and Duck have been lately, I bet I've been winning that tally. I think I put in like 62 hours this week... Ugh!)
 
Thanks, guys for the thoughts, and Jay we really appreciate your doing that with the website.

Lichterman is one that I have talked with several times now, and we could hold some meeting there, buttttt there is an issue on the weekends and the "cost" that we really would need to discuss at a meeting.

Sorry to all that I have not been better, but time has not been something that I have had any of lately, I have not even had time to post and "stalk" during the middle of the night in the last several months.

And Marty you really hit the nail on the head with the time thing, but I believe I would beat you this week!!
 
I hope things go well for you, Bill.

You guys are welcome to go on a reef trip with us on March 19th to see some very large reef setups. I had thought about asking about doing a joint meeting, but this may be a good chance for that. I just thought I'd put that out there just in case. I'll post more info if you are all interested.
