Hi,
Hope someone can be of help, I have a Clown that has 2 white growths the one on the cheek has an object (Bone?) growing out of it, see picture.
I've been trying to get it out of the main tank to place in quarantine, but to no avail, keeps hiding in the rocks, don't want to rip the reef apart to get it out so far it's the only fish in the tank displaying any signs of this.

Looks like a parasite to me. I would try an freshwater dip with methalyne blue. That spine growing on the cheek of the maroon clownfish is supposed to be there. They are sometimes called "spine cheeked anemonefish" and because of the spine are not even classified in the same genus as the rest of the clownfish.
