Fuscidic acid for Ich

Well, Fuscidic acid is an antibiotic that is only useful for gram postive bacteria. So no reason to even think it would be useful for a protozoan like ich, and gram positive bacterial infections in fish are quite rare. There is also a lack of any references for it's use as a antiprotozal. The quinine at least is a known antiprotozal with some known and proven uses in treating fish diseases, however, it's not known to be particularly effective for ich. This brings us right back to using the known and well documented treatments such as copper and hypo.
