My family does one for fun where we draw numbers, everything is wraped the first person chooses a present. The next person that goes can take what the first person got or choose an unknown. If they choose what some one else has that person gets to pick again, but not what the person tok from them.
Yankee Gift Swap...they're hilarious!

Oops, I missed october. I'll do it, but only if Rainer doesn't get his penicillin shots by then. ;) January is fine for me. I think we should not have a meeting in december- nobody really wants to do it then....

I second the idea of skipping Decembers meeting....

Especially if the meeting were to be held Dec 20-something...will never fly. Most weekends are party-time that time of the year.

But doesn't mean that a few of us couldn't get together for some holiday cheer!

Maybe we can keep informal, just post a therad like normal, people post if they want to go, no raffel, no agenda, and then the people that want to get together can decide who will host and if they want a grab bag or something. Make it an unoffical meeting. Hold it early in the month even if it is close to the meeting before. Just my thought on the topic.

I got dibs on November again :)
Excellent! Whats for dinner?!?!? :D

Anyone want a speaker at any of the meetings? Justin from CT is willing to come in- probably give a talk about his new non-profit venture along with gonipora corals. I can probably get one of the Pittsburg guys to come over for a visit some time as well.
And I'm always willing to put something together.

It depresses me to be talking about December this early in the summer, but I think we'll be fine if we schedule it for early in the month.

I have so much going on that it's hard to commit this far in advance to hosting a meeting, so maybe December will be a good opportunity to host last minute. We'll see. Maybe that being in the back of my mind will be long term incentive to get my tanks in top shape. ;)
