Future meeting ideas

Heres a good spot to put all your ideas for future meetings.

I'd like to do a summer bbq meeting/get together/ reactor workshop meeting
Say meet at someone's house around 11, talk for a hour, get things planned out, fire up the grill a hour later while people are putting together there reactors. You can eat while everything is drying up and bonding on your reactors.

Thats the meeting i'm looking forward too.

I know with gas prices, etc. this might not be all that practical. However, has C-Sea ever done a tank tour?

I'm with the reactor/cookout meeting idea, would be nice.

I can get a hall with an outdoor patio and big grill for free the only problem is its in Lorain County about 8 miles south east of Salty Critter. Of course that might not be so bad to make a group visit to Dan's place for dry goods and frozen stuff (we have freezer there to keep it) then go have a cookout and workshop. The facilities will allow for a rain or shine event. All i need is a date a month in advance so i can get it reserved. So guys from the east might want to carpool. Just a thought.

That really sounds like a good idea Cove Beach, Will we have access to electric outlets for my tools to make the cuts?

Well, since there is a basics 101 meeting, why not have a meeting to go over some more advanced topics?

Yep there are plenty of outlets for tools, we have a setup that will run 15 big roaster ovens at once and if the club wants to buy a keg we also have a bar setup complete with cooler and tap! The grill is a charcoal unit that is 36" wide and 6' long with an exhaust fan. We normally do steak frys at our club house. We are able to handle up to 140 people rain or shine. Just have to give me the date a month in advance as our club meets the first Wednesday of every month.

just make it a workshop day beginner , intermediate and advanced. group up have fun. then everyones happy they all have something to do.

nah... were just looking to build a reactor at this. The splitting of the club into beg, med, and advance is not something the club is about. Were just putting on a 101 meeting because it was requested.
