FW dips?

Is it recommended to FW dip clams after purchase? Or should it only be done when necessary? Do most people Qt their clams? What procedures do you guys use after you bring the new additions home?

i wouldnt dip new clams, QT is the best way to go

Cool thanks, about how long should I keep a clam in QT before adding it to my display? Besides the lighting adjustment time period, I'm talking about parasite/disease QT time?

the longer the better, but at least 2 to 3 weeks
