Had a hard time finding who did Co2 Refills here in town. I found a few places who will do a tank exchange, but I did'nt want to do that.
Found this place called "PYE BARKER" on Beaver St. who refilled my 5lb. Co2 tank while I waited, and it only cost $16 and change.
If anyone interested:

I get my 20lb. bottle filled for the same price on Phillips
and they will refill the same bottle if it up to date on the safty date.

Robert are you talking about Tri tech welding? If so those are the folks who filled my tank that exploded on the ride home but they took care of me and gave me an aluminum tank

It is Tri teck and have been getting it fiied for about 2yrs from them and never had any trouble. I think your exp. was a fluke.

Hey MarineDud,
Before you post and send people there, (as I was headed there this morning to fill my 20lb. as per your post)
get your facts straight.
I'm glad I called first because:
I called them this morning and to Refill a 5lb. tank it is $18.98 out the door.
I asked them about a 20lb and it was $24.56 out the door.

They advertise $10.78 for the fill but after HazMat ($6.95) and Tax it totals out the door at $18.98
I think I'll save money on refills and gas and go back to Pye Barker.

Thanks, Brian

Well thats funny as I sit here and look at my invoice from 7-13-06
with tax and all its $17.96 so they went up what can I say, but I think my invoice is a fact!

I just got my 5lb CO2 bottle for my kegerator filled by Consolidated Carbonics at 6953 Stuart st, west of Lane Ave. I paid $10.17 with tax for a refill. A 10 lb refill is only a couple of bucks more.

Awesome...thanks for the heads up on that Paul. When you get that hooked up...don't forget to send out some invites....

Acroholic,
Under your current tanks you have a 190gal. Oceanic tank I was'nt aware they made a 190gal. or is that because it's made with Diamante Glass..?
