G.Platysoma observation.

I bought 200 snails off ebay not long ago and they laid eggs quickly in my platysomas 6g nano tank. I observed him eating the snail eggs off the glass. Just a heads up, I was not aware they eat eggs.

Sweet, Snails benedict! Im sure he would appreciate some Gravy and Biscuits & cheesy grits too!!

Ya he is living the high life right now. He has about 40 snails to eat when he gets hungry, plus he gets tasty snacks from the eggs they constantly are laying on the glass. Not to mention I got him some nice zebra striped shrooms to look at and play in. I don't think my peacock has seen the eggs yet but he bashes those little nassarius snails all day long.

My platysoma is pretty laid back...he doesn't do much of anything...and his "lair" is facing the back. I think I'm going to rearrange the tank tonight so that there is no back for him to peek out of. I've noticed that his dishes keep piling up.

I really love him, probably more than my peacock. I think I am going to get the platy a fish friend soon.
