So the long-weekend trip to Atlanta from Cville went off without a hitch. The drive was easy, the OK Cafe in ATL was a bit of brilliant eating, Dave & Busters thrilling. But obviously, nothing at all compared with the behind the scenes tour of that magnificent, mind-bogglingly large, superbly executed work of art that is the aquarium.
I'll post some pictures this week when I have a chance to set up a new webpage, but for now I'll say this: HOLY COW.
I'll throw two in here now: They're top views of the reef tank, incorporating a mangrove zone that's not visible from the bottom. It's just amazing. I think I'll try to build that in my apartment.
