Gabriel's NEW 300 Gallon Envision Tank ((PICS INTENSE))

Wow...

Wow...

Like several others have, I just came across this thread and read it all the way through. Amazing planning and execution! Wildly impressive...

So, no one has asked, but your long silence begs the question, if you bought a house have you moved the tank?? The way you designed it and shipped in all the parts makes it seem pretty modular, but I can not even begin to fathom trying to move all that rock, coral, etc. Not to mention you'd probably want to save a good chunk of the water to shorten the spin-up on the other end...

I've only been into the hobby for a year, but my two major regrets are 1) not doing more pre-setup underneath my 72g-BF, and 2) going with a 72g-BF rather than a 75g rectangular tank (would look a lot more natural in the space I have it in). So, I toy with the idea of taking two days to do a tank swap to right some of my wrongs, but can't bare the thought of disrupting my little ecosystem (which I am very pleased with)! As a result I have a bit of a fascination with tank moves, so if you've moved that baby please share how you went about it!

I look forward to future updates!

I was wondering the same thing! How in the world did a massive move go? Did you have to add supports for a whole new floor, run new wiring, etc. etc.???

oh no.. that tank is built into the house... i will never take it out...
