Galaxea Coral

Hi Everyone,

I bought a head of Galxea Coral ... it was doing good for a couple of days and now the polyps are hanging down, some look thin .... and tips on keeping this and nursing it???
ANY HELP WOYLD BE APPRECIATED!

they like flow. how much flow is going over them?

I have a decent amount of flow directly on it .... I had taken it off of it for a couple of days and placed it to the side of it just to graze it .... its at a depth of about 12 inches ... How would I know if it dies?

Hi,

The thin long polyps ar probably the stinging cells. Some Galaxea have very long 2"+ stingers that go out and destroy other corals around them. Sounds normal to me.

mine love flow and actually have done better in lower light, halides though. Whats your lighting and other parameters?
