Garage Sale

This might be a really dumb idea but thought I'd throw it out there.

TWP has their yearly sale with includes new/used items outside from people who bring it up there. Since it is cold, nasty, cold, icy, cold outside, why don't we have an online garage sale basically. Nothing too big, nothing too small. It might push some of us to get off our butts and dig out some stuff we're not using. We could have a scheduled start time and do everything online.

That means, people would not have to drag everything anywhere.

We could even do it similar to TWP in which, it starts at a certain price, and should it not sell, goes down at a certain time to approved prices by the owner.

What does everyone think???

I think that the deal is most the time if someones motivated to get rid of something they just throw it on the board anyway. Something I just realized is that the other local club didn't have an auction this fall. (dodges tomatoes thrown at me for mentioning them on this board). :lol:

The whole point is to MOTIVATE us...Especially you with your 25 intermatic timers and 8 sets of lights even you don't know where they came from. :lol:

Hey those lights will come in handy someday! :lol:

Actually my softy tank is going from the 55 into that 75rr after Christmas and instead of the 4X65 pc's I'll do 6X65's in retro's on it and I'll be able to sell the coralife lunarlight. Or save it for another tank.
