Garage sale

i just found out about it, anyone have 125 gal with built in overflows, still wanting to get rid of?
 
It was smaller than I thought as well, but there were some great deals here and there. Most stuff was for larger systems, so the only thing I got was ic gel. Two bucks unopened.
 
Had a great time. It was nice meeting new people and catching up with those that I haven't seen for a while. There were good deals to be had also, inside and out.

Thanks to all that took the time to organize this event, John for hosting it, and to those that hauled things to sell.
 
It was indeed very nice to chat it up with many of you and finally put a face to a name. I was hoping there would have been more folks that were able to make it and set up shop, but we all got to start somewhere. I hope the folks that bought things from me found they got great values, and I thank you for helping me clear the shop out. Still a bunch more to go... For those who were not able to make it, or if you did but still need some items, I will be posting massive CL ads in the next couple of weeks. Have a couple tanks, misc equipment, tons of supplements and test kits still.

Thank you MARS for putting this together - it was a great time and the food was good!
 
Likewise, there were some new faces to me, but not as many as I had expected/hoped? It was a bit warm and shade was in short supply.

I just posted a CL ad with many of the leftovers from today, including a VHO setup, a PC setup, a couple tanks/stand and some pumps.
 
Pete, if you still have the Ushio MH lamps, the guy that works at Your Reef is interested in them. He bought a ballast from the Paul and Mike show.

Yeah, I still have them. Aaron was going to take a look tomorrow, but if her doesn't pick them up, I'll call John and find out who was looking for bulbs.

Not too many sales, but I just loved the trading that went on, totally fun. Maybe we could incorporate another garage sale at the swap. Would that be too much work?
 
I went to the sale and though i tought it was gonna be bigger there was some great deals. I'm totally stoked i talked my wife into letting me buy a 400w lumen arc metal halide setup from mrmikeb. He gave me a great deal and though my tanks not ready for it yet i like turning it on just to see how bright it is. Guess i have reef madness
 
I got a SCREAMING deal!!!!
I've been wanting a doser for my tank setup, but had not researched them much due to lack of time.
So I had no idea how much they cost...

Well I got me a WORKING Spectra Pure LiterMeter for $15.00
I had no idea if it was a good deal or not..
After the purchase I was talking to Bruce and he said I had gotten a steal..

Well when I got home I jumped online to see what they go for and was SHOCKED to find out how expensive those things are!!!!

They run OVER $350 each!!!!

I saw that LiterMeter and didn't even bother asking 'how much', since I knew they are so expensive new. I just figured he was asking $200 or so. Damn you got a deal!

I had a great time checking out all the junk. The Mike and Paul show was overwhelming they had so much stuff.

Big or small....I don't care and won't complain. I just had fun and really appreciated the efforts of all! It was cool to see John as well. I had not been to his shop in a bit. Thanks to all!
