Garlic question?

I'm treating a sick fish. Ich is such a winderful thing... Everybody keeps telling me to use garlic on his food. I saw the stuff at the LFS and it was $18.00 for a little tiny bottle. Do I have to use that stuff or can I get some garlic extract from the gracery store? Also, how much should I use?

you can use the grocery store stuff, depends how concentrated it is. It doesnt take much at all, it is just to entice the fish to eat and build there immune system.

get some garlic from the supermarket .... and crush a clove right before your ready to feed... use some of that oil/juice to add to the food.

I suggest you read the ich sticky post - garlic may help stimulate appetite but it isn't going to have any direct impact on ich.
