you can buy stuff at the gorcery store that's about a quarter the price. Kent's is over priced grocery store garlic. Need to find the liquid garlic, which can be tough sometimes.
Is it safe to use garlic cloves cut small enough for fish to consume? Will this adversely effect fish health or water quality? Or should we look to find a solution from the lfs or grocery?
Garlic is only useful if the fish consume it. Having it in the water only messes with water quality. And I don't believe it has the medicinal effects most claim. I would say it stimulates appetite, may have some immunity boosting quality but to say it kills ich or cures fish of ich. It may be coinsidence.
ok well i quarantined the fish and am treating him with a solution called copper safe and feeding him spectrum that has garlic to help the amune system.
