I thought maybe my fish had ich but I have never had it before so I couldnt tell... my hippo tang had spots and would scratch on the rocks and one of my clowns had 2-3 small black spots. I was reading about garlic helping with /Ich and dropped a pill every few days. The fish are still eating great and the spots dont seem to be getting worse so maybe the garlic pills are working. Has anyone else used this or just natural garlic from the store? Are the ingredients safe? I saw it had mg and ca

We used the garlic drops made for aquarium use when our fish had ich in our 125. It seemed to help, but the underlying problem was the ph dropping at night from me not using kalk or a buffer to keep the hardness up. I don't know about using pills made for humans because I'm not sure that would even dissolve into something that would be effective in the water.
