Gate valve suppliers ?

I was thinking steinhouse had gate valves but they do not. ANy other local leads? I need a 1.25" for my skimmer mod I am doing and BTW I also got a big sheet of that enkamat stuff to do the mesh wheel mod for anyone wanting to mod there needlewheel pumps. Thanks.

The Lowes and Home Depots I have been to both had an assortment of them. Also you can try Ferguson's on Elm Hill pike in Nashville if you are around there.

Gate valves or ball valves? Most home depos and lowes only have ball valves. Fergusons doesn't have any either . I called a ton of places in the yellow pages today with no luck and the "mod" kit on ASM's website is just way to high for a few common plumbing peices. All except the gate valve but still a cheap mod going through there kit with shipping would end up costing $50!!

well I know I had seen them some where but thaught they were too expensive but when I just looked them up online they are not cheap.

I'm almost positive I have seen 1.25" gate valves at Lowes. At least around here anyways.

Thanks for the links. I knew this was talked about recently also and remembered Brian finding them at a ACE but the 2 I called today only had ball valves. I need to call the one over by the critter. Give me a good reason to head over that way . Bad thing is I ordered my enkamat from that first link you posted Wayne and tried to call back and add a Gate valve and it had already shipped out a few hours after I placed the order.
